Girl Conquers Fear! : From Balboa Pier in Newport Beach, CA, I witnessed an inspiring moment in one little girl's life as her father and older brother helped her overcome her fear of the ocean.
These photos were taken over a span of 10 minutes but I will remember this for a very long time.

The Corpse Flower at The Huntington Library : These photos were taken between June 15-25, 2009. The flower's bloom peaked on June 17, and it began closing in the morning of June 18.
